Probably about 5000 passengers altogether, and about half of them here on the Grand Anse Beach. St George's, Grenada - waterfront at the Carenage. Being on my own between guests means that it's back to basics food-wise! Quick and easy are the keys to this culinary delight! On the bus this morning from Tyrrel Bay to Hillsborough, I think I had the female Stig (out of uniform) driving, racing driver gloves and all! Paradise Beach on the Grenadian island of Carriacue is perfectly named! An idyllic place for my Friday swim. Stunning vintage schooner beating to windward under full sail. Seen off Sandy Island, Carriacue. Another vintage vessel beating northwards under full sail. I was heading south from Carriacue to Grenada off the wind and surfing at sometimes 9 knots! And the perfect thing to do on Paradise Beach is to have a bottle of Carib beer at "Off the Hook" bar. Paradise Beach on the Grenadian island of Carriacue is perfectly named! An idyllic place for my Friday swim. Leaving St Lucia at sunrise yesterday morning. Approaching St Lucia, with the famous landmark Pitons ahead after our lively 8 knot 60 mile sail north from Bequia past St Vincent. This is the island of "Petit Tabac" where some scenes from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean " were filmed. The classic "J" Class yacht "Rainbow" (built 2005) joined us at the Tobago Cays anchorage.
